"Frankly, I didn’t really expect much from the family session but was very pleasantly surprised. I expected soft, touchy-feely discussions without much benefit to the process. We have all taken personality profiles before and this would be just another rehashing of our tendencies/ our feelings/our likes, dislikes, etc. But, instead, this took the profiles, and put them into actionable form with everyone in the room engaged, talking, laughing at unstated but obvious characteristics that helped explain all of our individual weirdnesses. This has truly set the stage for our family to continue to discuss our future with a better understanding of why certain family members feel and react the way they do. Not to over-dramatize, but I left the meeting feeling like a load had been lifted and that we reset our family bar in a very, very positive way.
